Adesope Afolayan

​​Adesope Afolayan : ​​Sope is a brand and marketing development strategist for startups, SMEs, and multinational businesses. He is a food system game changer and a circular economy practitioner driven by the passion to see businesses transition from linear to circular economy. He is an Ellen MacArthur From Linear to Circular Alumni, and a 2023 Blum Global Fellow of the Milken Innovation Center, Jerusalem Institute of Policy Research. He is a founding member of FarmStory and lives in Ibadan, Nigeria. 

Paula White Naiga

Paula is a founding member of FarmStory, and a Management Consultant with a specialty in Change and Strategy. She has experience working in the NGO, consulting, marketing, manufacturing, and education sectors. With her passion for strategic transformation, she has worked in Europe, Africa and Asia. Paula is Ugandan and is currently based in Munich, Germany.

Emilio Martinez de Velasco Aguirre

Emilio is a founding member of FarmStory, and the founding director of the Collaborative Innovation Lab (LINNCO), at Anahuac Mayab University in Merida, Mexico.

This initiative, launched in 2020, promotes and facilitates collective learning, collaboration, and co-creation initiatives with diverse stakeholders to address complex and systemic challenges in the southeast region of Mexico.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, he worked as Regional Director of Mexico’s National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).

He holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of California at Berkeley, with a specialization on innovation policies and regional economic development.

Caroline Batzdorf

Caroline is a food system social entrepreneur living in Brooklyn, New York City, and a founding member of FarmStory. Prior to starting FarmStory, she was Director of Development at LIS Cross-National Data Center and the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality at the CUNY Graduate Center. She hopes to contribute positive change at the nexus of food systems, inequality, community, and climate change.
Myriad contributions from the entire Food System Game Changer’s Lab Cohort 17 led to the creation of FarmStory, including those of Ramiro Arganaraz, Mark Algra, Mauro Barberis, Samantha Eala, Ahmed Ekzayez, Simon Gooder, Kehinde Odanye, Kirti Patni, and Cynthia Simeon.
