Our Theory of Change

Lack of visibility and recognition of community farmers contributes to their marginalization and exclusion from decision-making processes in the food system.

Furthermore, lack of access to information, knowledge, and resources can limit community farmers’ ability to innovate and adapt to changing environmental and market conditions.

However, stories and storytelling can increase visibility, promote cultural preservation, and facilitate knowledge sharing.

By connecting them to a global network, where they have access to information, resources, and markets, community farmers have greater visibility, and more opportunities to innovate and learn about sustainable and regenerative farming practices that improve their livelihoods and protect the environment.

We believe that sharing stories and experiences is the key to building a more just, equitable, and resilient food system.

Our theory of change is that fostering this global network and amplifying community farmers’ stories will lead to greater empowerment and collective action.
